As Heather is launching her new Website I felt it is appropriate for me to endorse her capabilities relative to my experience when I said farewell to my partner of nine years.
As he knew he was suffering a terminal illness, we contacted Heather, in advance, while he was still able to express his wishes as to how he wanted his farewell.
He spent several hours with Heather giving her the details, and she then formulated the service in advance so he was able to have some idea as to how things would be done.
Every detail was carried out in a professional and caring manner, and I can not speak highly enough of Heather's ability, thus relieving the pressure on us at such an emotional time.

My mother recently passed away and was cremated in the UK. Although a funeral was held for my mother in the UK I wanted to hold a memorial service in Australia, where she lived for almost 50 years, to enable her extended family and many friends to say farewell.
I am so glad I chose Heather to officiate at my mother’s memorial service. Nothing was too much for Heather from the very beginning. She took me through the service, even running through what she would say, during our first meeting. As I was not familiar with organising a memorial service I was somewhat overwhelmed about what I needed to do. This was not necessary though in view of Heather’s extensive experience at organising funerals. Heather was very knowledgeable in all areas from what songs to choose to how to prepare an order of service. She also had plenty of tips for writing a eulogy and how to prepare the room.
On the day Heather was very supportive and well organised. The orders of service were perfect and Heather’s delivery of the service was second to none in view of her very compassionate and personal approach, with many people in attendance commenting on Heather’s professionalism and compassion.
I would highly recommend Heather to anyone whether it be to officiate a funeral, memorial service, wedding or naming ceremony. You will certainly not be disappointed.
